Last week I worked on refining the shape and proportions.
This week I worked towards getting the crevices just so and started working on texture of the overall object. To achieve the dimply look all over I have been using a green scractch pad to rough up the surface as well as the butt end of my needle tool.
The dimples are helping give a sense of depth to the crevices, as well as giving the chayote some character.
